Commercial & Creative SOW Audit
Written as Dean MUA's brand-partnerships manager would write it — auditing the deal's value and specifying the creative execution before it's locked. K-Beauty Festival 2026 · TIRTIR × Dean MUA
Rp 70jt
Proposed SOW value

Deliverables: 2 Stories + 1 Reels
Rate-card context (from WhatsApp, 3 Aug 2026): Dean's official rate card values this scope at Rp 77,000,000 broken down as Makeup Workshop/Talkshow + Live Demo Rp 45,000,000, Reel + 1 Story bundle Rp 27,000,000, and Permanent Collaboration Post Rp 5,000,000. Dean's team proactively offered a special partnership rate of Rp 70,000,000 (an ~9% discount off card rate) for the full agreed scope below — this was Dean's own goodwill offer, not a TIRTIR-driven negotiation-down, worth remembering as leverage context for any future scope changes.
1. What's actually in scope, restated precisely
Total: 3 assets, 1 shoot day, 1 edit cycle. This is a lean, single-event scope — no separate paid ad usage, no multi-week content calendar, no exclusivity period stated yet (flagged below).
2. Is Rp 70jt a fair rate for this scope? (manager's read)
Verdict, updated 3 Aug 2026 against the real WhatsApp thread: FAVORABLE for Dean. Two of the three original open questions are now resolved by the actual chat: (1) the Rp 70jt fee does include the live Talkshow + Makeup Demo appearance, not content-only (Vanka's message confirms the special package covers "Talkshow and live makeup demonstration" plus the content deliverables) — so this is genuinely a bundled appearance+content fee, not an underpriced content-only deal; and (2) muse/attire/hairdo costs sit with TIRTIR/the organizer, not Dean's team, per Section 2 below. The one item still open: usage-rights duration and paid-media reuse rights, which the chat thread does not address at all — get this in writing before signing.
Why this lands as fair-to-good, not a lowball
- It's a bundled fee for presence + content, not content alone. Rp 70jt for a single Instagram creator content package (2 Stories + 1 Reels) with no live appearance would be rich for most mid-tier Indonesian MUA/creator rate cards. But this scope also carries a live, ticketed-venue public appearance at a 30,000+ visitor mall festival, on-stage MUA execution time, and the reputational value of an official TIRTIR-branded activation — that combination is usually priced as a package, and Rp 70jt sits in a reasonable band for a MUA of Dean's tier doing exactly this kind of hybrid (appearance + content) deal.
- The Reels is a collab post, not a standalone brand deal. A collab post splits reach and algorithmic credit between both accounts — TIRTIR is effectively buying access to Dean's audience overlap (see the 90% overlap figure already used to justify Tengku Nadira's casting fit) at a fixed cost regardless of how the Reel actually performs. That's a favorable structure for TIRTIR if the Reel underperforms, and favorable for Dean if it overperforms (upside isn't capped either way, since it's a flat fee not a CPM deal) — worth knowing going into negotiation, since it means Dean isn't leaving upside on the table if the recap goes viral like the referenced prior reel did.
What would make this underpriced — confirm before signing
- CONFIRM Usage rights window. If TIRTIR can reuse the Reel/Stories in paid ads or on owned channels beyond organic posting, that's a materially different (higher-value) grant than "post once, keep on Dean's own grid." A flat Rp 70jt with unlimited perpetual usage rights is underpriced; the same fee for organic-only, time-boxed usage is fine.
- CONFIRM Does the fee include the live demo appearance/MUA execution time, or is that being treated as separately compensated (e.g. via product gifting, a separate appearance fee, or bundled into "exposure")? The tracker currently shows Commercial Terms as Amber — "discussed via WhatsApp, not yet in writing" — this is exactly the gap that needs closing before Rp 70jt can be judged fair with confidence.
- RESOLVED (WhatsApp, 3 Aug 2026) Who bears muse costs? Confirmed in the WhatsApp thread with Vanka: the Rp 70jt package explicitly excludes the model/muse, attire, and hairdo — those are arranged and provided by TIRTIR or the event organizer team, subject to final approval from Dean/Dean Management for concept alignment. Vanka acknowledged this directly ("noteeed kak, berarti in total 70jt exclude muse yaa"). This is a materially better commercial position than the open question originally flagged here — Dean's team is not absorbing muse cost out of this fee. Per the written-confirmation rule, this is a clear mutual chat-level understanding but still not yet in a signed contract/PO — recommend it be written into the contract in these exact terms so it survives beyond chat.
METHOD NOTE This assessment is directional professional judgment (typical Indonesian creator/MUA hybrid-deal structuring), not a benchmarked rate-card lookup against a live database — no such source was available to check against. Treat the verdict as a negotiation starting position, not an appraised market value.
3. Reels Recap — Creative Brief
Duration
Contracted spec (confirmed via WhatsApp, 3 Aug 2026): 60–130 seconds. This corrects this document's earlier assumption of a 45–60s hard cap, which was reasoned from retention data alone without the actual deliverable spec. Reasoning below still applies and matters more, not less, at this longer runtime: the previous DEANMUA_ x TIRTIR reel (already analyzed in this project's Expert Meta-Prompt work) showed an average watch time of ~21 seconds against a 59-second edit, with a secondary retention hold around the product callout at ~33 seconds and a small uptick at the very end. At 60–130 seconds, an even larger share of the runtime sits past the point where most viewers have already left — so the hook and hero-product moment must still front-load inside that same ~20-second window regardless of total length; the extra runtime should go toward a richer reveal/talkshow/CTA tail for the viewers who do stay, not toward delaying the product moment.
Structural reference (built from the proven prior reel's retention curve, not a generic template)
0:00 – 0:03
Cold open on the transformation payoff
Flash-forward frame of the finished Bold Glam look or a crowd-reaction shot — do not open on setup/prep. The prior reel's own data shows the first few seconds decide retention; open on the most visually arresting frame in the whole edit.
0:03 – 0:10
Event establishing beat
Wide shot of Central Park Mall stage/crowd, quick TIRTIR signage insert, on-screen text: "TIRTIR x Dean MUA — K-Beauty Festival 2026." Keep this fast — 2–3 cuts max, no lingering wide shots.
0:10 – 0:20
Skin prep & base montage (fast cuts)
Quick-cut sequence: Matcha Pads press, toner pat, Red Foundation/Red Cushion application close-up. Keep each shot under 1.5s — this is texture/proof-of-process, not tutorial pacing.
~0:18 – 0:22
HERO PRODUCT CALLOUT — place this before the 21s drop-off, not after
This is the single highest-leverage edit decision in the whole reel. Insert a deliberate half-beat: a clean macro shot of the Mask Fit Red Cushion/Red Foundation in hand with the TIRTIR logo legible, a short on-screen text overlay ("THE VIRAL BASE"), synced to a music hit or beat-drop if the audio allows. This must land at or before ~20s — the prior reel's product callout landed at 33s,
after the 21s average watch time, which is the exact diagnostic finding from the earlier audit: move the hero-product moment earlier this time so more of the audience that's still watching actually sees it.
0:22 – 0:40
Reveal & transformation proof
Before/after split or wipe transition into the completed look; muse reaction shot; 1–2 crowd/audience reaction inserts for social proof.
0:40 – 0:52
Talkshow/host energy beat
Short clip of host-muse interaction or Dean speaking directly to camera — 1 sentence only, e.g. "This is why I only trust TIRTIR for stage-ready base." Keep dialogue minimal; captions carry the message for sound-off viewers.
0:52 – 0:60
CTA end card
TIRTIR logo lockup + Dean handle + "Full look at [booth/TIRTIR link]" — matches the earlier end-of-reel retention uptick seen in the prior asset, so give viewers who stayed a clear next action rather than a hard cut to black.
Editing process (practical workflow)
- Multi-cam capture on event day: minimum one static wide (crowd/stage context), one handheld/gimbal close-up (product application detail), one phone-native vertical for authenticity cutaways.
- Log footage same day; select the single most striking finished-look frame first — that becomes the cold-open, chosen before the rest of the edit is cut (edit backward from the hook, not forward from the start of the event).
- Rough cut to the timeline above; treat the ~18–22s hero-product mark as a fixed edit point, not a flexible one — build pacing around hitting it, not the other way around.
- Add captions/on-screen text for every key line (TIRTIR product names, Dean's one quote) — most watch-time is sound-off on Reels.
- Color pass to keep skin tones consistent between the live-stage footage (mixed venue lighting) and any supplementary close-ups, so the base/coverage story reads as one continuous truth rather than two different lighting conditions.
- QC pass specifically checking: is the hero product legible and named/captioned before 0:22? If not, re-cut — this is the one non-negotiable structural rule from the prior data.
Hero product highlight — explicit answer
Mask Fit Red Cushion + Mask Fit Red Foundation (the "flawless base" pairing) is the hero moment for this recap, matched to the demo's own emphasis (see Internal Notes Section 2 — base/complexion gets the largest time allocation of the live demo itself). Secondary product beat if runtime allows: Mask Fit Setting Spray as the closing "24H proof" line, mirrored from the live demo's own closing beat — keeps the Reel narratively consistent with what actually happened on stage rather than inventing a different priority order after the fact.
4. IG Stories — brief (shorter, lower-production items)
Story 1 (day-of): Vertical, near-real-time, single frame or 2-frame sequence from backstage/on-stage — a "we're live" moment. Sticker/link to the mall/booth if IG allows a link sticker on Dean's account tier. Purpose: proof-of-attendance in the moment, drives foot traffic same-day.
Story 2 (post-event): Confirmed as 15–30 seconds of video (WhatsApp, 3 Aug 2026) — corrected from this document's earlier assumption of a static still frame. Recommend a short clip (not just a still) of a genuine highlight moment — the reveal, a crowd reaction, or the closing group shot — with a one-line caption ("Thank you TIRTIR & everyone who came to Central Park Mall today") and a link/sticker to the Reels recap once it's live, so Story 2 functions partly as a traffic bridge into the Reel rather than a standalone throwaway.
5. Open items — logged, not blocking
TO CONFIRM WITH TIRTIR Usage-rights duration and paid-media reuse rights for all 3 assets.
TO CONFIRM WITH TIRTIR Whether Rp 70jt covers the live demo appearance or is content-fee-only.
RESOLVED (WhatsApp, 3 Aug 2026) Muse cost allocation — confirmed TIRTIR/organizer side, not Dean's team; see Section 2.
TO CONFIRM WITH TIRTIR Muse selection must specifically be someone Dean has made up before, per Vanka's explicit request ("yg udah pernah dimakeupin Kak Dean") — cross-check the existing 5-candidate shortlist against this criterion explicitly rather than assuming it's already satisfied.
ASSUMPTION MADE HERE This audit treats "70 mill" as IDR (Rp 70,000,000) based on context (an Indonesia-based deal, prior documents denominated in IDR/local terms) — flagged explicitly in case the figure was meant in a different currency or unit.
